Dr Elizabeth Wheeler is a consultant in paediatric endocrinology and diabetes. In addition to her private work, her public appointment is at Peninsula University Hospital, as the Clinical Lead of Paediatric Diabetes.
Dr Wheeler see’s patients with presentations covering:

• growth

• ⁠puberty

• periods/menstruation

• disorders of the thyroid

• disorders of the pituitary gland

• ⁠childhood obesity

She also has extensive experience with endocrine syndromes such as Turner Syndrome, and the endocrine aspects of children with chronic health conditions and childhood cancers.

 Elizabeth is passionate about educating her patients and their families to empower them as partners in the management of their conditions; and working with them compassionately to achieve excellent outcomes.
